Madame Brussels is out there once again spreading the love on the streets of Melbourne. Quick snapshot of the Valentines Day cards handed out this morning down at Parliament Station. Bit of chocolate with the morning ritual coffee sounds like a good start to me.

New People

Same great company, but now with double the O’Keeffes. One of Melbourne’s most talented and in–demand freelance designers, Mark O’Keeffe has joined his brother Andrew as co-director of Studio Alto, bringing his vast experience to the other end of the desk. Often in business you wish you could clone yourself – this is about as close as you get!

New Logo

With the re-launch, we retire the start-up logo that has served us so well for the last 5 years. The new logo is a classic monogram that is our seal of excellence. New stationery coming soon!

New Website

The last 18 months have been particularly busy – and as is often the case, our website has not been updated to feature our latest and greatest work. In this time our clientele and services have expanded dramatically – most notably into mobile app design. With 20 odd app titles under our belts for iPhone, iPad and Android in the last year and a half, we are probably Australia’s most experienced app interface designers (but don’t quote us on that…).

Which brings us to this – our new website. Currently, it only shows a small selection, but will be slowly built up over time. To keep track of our updates, follow us on Facebook or Twitter.

We are very pleased to announce that Studio Alto has been listed among the winners of the inaugural Brand New Awards for our work for client Knight Frank on the destination branding of Madame Brussels Lane, Melbourne. The awards are a peer-judged competition that celebrates the best identity work produced around the world during 2010. We will be writing up a full case study for this project in the near future, but in the meantime you can check out some images of the project here.
