An annual celebration of the arts including theatre, dance, visual arts, opera and music.
2011 was a very good year for Melbourne. We were graced with a fast-paced feast of music and the arts when the annual Melbourne Festival launched 52 shows and 15 world premieres over 17 days.
There was an impressive array of musicians from Japan, USA, Iraq, Syria, Democratic Republic of the Congo, China and New Zealand for the Melbourne Festival. Entertaining as it was, the city was overrun by giant demon babies adorning our streets. We were lucky to survive.
The free Melbourne Festival app allowed users to survive the demon-baby-fest with the entire 2011 program in one nifty little app.
Users could browse and search the entire 2011 program by date, genre and all events, get quick access to what’s on today, category listings, purchase tickets and keep up to date with the latest news and gossip on Twitter and Facebook.
Another great app with Outware Mobile.
