Named after a former guest house in the Christmas Hills, The Roost is a brand concept developed for master wine maker Rob Dolan.

 

What’s in a name?

In a market saturated with big players from ‘traditional’ wine regions, the Christmas Hills provides a refreshing point of difference for the brand origin of The Roost. Named after a former guest house situated near the current winery.

The Roost aims to veer away from preconceived notions of any particular region; “Oh the Yarra Valley makes great¬†Chardonnay but if you want a full-bodied wine go for a New Zealand variety‚Ķ” The brand does, however, need to hold its own amongst the array of brands that leave us spoilt for choice. Studio Alto has gone the extra mile and looked at the possibility of a fresh creative for each harvest.
